How the Google Drive integration works
On first connection, you authorize PDF2DocBot via Google OAuth (read/write access to your chosen folder only). The bot then polls Drive every 5–60 minutes for new PDFs, downloads them, converts them locally on EU servers, and uploads the DOCX result back to the same Drive folder.
Works with shared and team drives
PDF2DocBot can access any folder you have access to in Drive — including shared folders, team drives and shared-with-me. This makes it perfect for accounting teams, legal departments and anyone collaborating on PDFs in Drive.
Privacy and security
All file processing happens on our EU servers (Romania). PDFs are deleted after conversion. Your Google credentials are stored encrypted, and we only request access to the specific folder you select — never the entire Drive.
